Thanks for all the settings in detail. i have a couple of questions.
1. will these settings work on palm tungsten E?
2. does the palm tungsten E support a web browser?
3. how good is the connection speed on t-mobile gprs?
hrmmm...I checked...double checked...and even went to nokia to resend the GPRS settings..but it keeps saying that the GPRS access point is invalid. What kills me is this worked 2 days ago...any thoughts?
I did call CS...and he told me that the access point was wap.myvoicestream.com but that just gave me "you must suscribe to gprs first" which leads me to believe that he gave me the wrong info.
I had the same problem with my phone. My service worked and I was able to connect to the internet. After talking to CS one time, I found that I received the same error message. I called CS back and the tier 2 tech told me that the CS person had canceled my tzones by accident. You might want to call them back and she if this is what happened to you.
Do you have the MMS settings for the Nokia 6600? i can't find a place to input the Gateway IP Address?

I know alot of you may already know or have this in your phone, but if not maybe this might fix your problems.... This information will work for your Unlimited GPRS acct that is $19.99
I have found that if you are trying to program your phone for GPRS internet with t-mobile, you need to use the t-zones settings on the configurator. Not the INTERNET settings. The internet settings are meant for other devices than phones.
The T-Zones GPRS Settings that work on the phone are:
Settings Name: T-Zones GPRS
Homepage: wap.myvoicestream.com
Session Mode: Permanent
Connection Security: Off
Data Bearer: GPRS
Bearer Settings:
GPRS connection: When needed
GPRS Access Point: wap.voicestream.com
IP Address: 216.155.165.050
Authentication: Normal
Login Type: Automatic
User Name/Password : Blank
This works on my phone. If you use the configurator link, which is great by the way, don't use the internet one on the bottom. Use the T-Zones on the top left and follow the directions it will work fine.
