    Visual Voicemail..?

Is it possible to have a program on the Treo that downloads my voicemail to my SD card and allows me to play, pause, and delete recordings??

Kind of like what the iPhone has, except worlds better because its a Treo ha ha...

Thanks in advance. I have just come to hate the T-Mobile voicemail system.

    youmail

I don't know of any program for that...
Yet, I am using something similar web-based. It is youmail.com. I think you can't subscribe to it just like that. You have to get invited (just like gmail)

The way it works is that when you get VM it sends you text message with the number from the recorded person or their name if you have it saved. Best thing about it is that you can record different greeting for any saved caller. Also you can set it to send you email with the message itself in .wmv format...

I still have 4 invitations to give out. If anyone wants to try PM me... (first come first serve )

It is not compatible with Canadian carriers (at least not yet). Pity, it looks like a cool service.

Yeah its not compatible with Sprint either, b/c they have to be ghey & charge per minute for call forwarding!!!

I want to use youmail more than I want to breathe b/c all the bill collectors & exes call me all the time, but I can't b/c of this. Thanks Sprint, looks like I'll have to change my number yet again.

So you're blaming Sprint for having the bill collectors call you? Yeah, that's foolproof logic!

Uh, NO, I'm blaming them for being money-hungry and charging per minute for forwarded calls when NO other wireless company does this. And its not my irresponsibility that's the cause of the bill collectors calling me either, my ex got a bunch of crap in my name & now I'm stuck with the debts. Which is why I'm not paying for any of it & they're calling me twice a day.

Way to hijack the thread over something that couldn't concern you LESS and be unnecessarily rude about it too.

Suck it up and take responsibility princess. If your ex ran up your bills, take them to court and get it back! You're only screwing yourself by not paying the bills.

Blaming Sprint for being "money-hungry and charging per minute for forwarded calls when NO other wireless company does this" is lame. They're a business and businesses are out to make money. If you don't like the way they work, you have the choice to go somewhere else and give someone else your money. Don't blame them for your own decisions.

Oooooo.....I've been reported!! I'll go out and buy some boots to shake in!

Any post you make is open for everyone to comment on. I happened to call you out on the fact that you're trying to blame someone else for your issues when you are the one that needs to own up.

At least we agree on something......this thread has become pointless.

I'm sure Apple will send it's minion of law "experts" after anyone who tries to come up with a Visual Voicemail equivalent/knockoff.
