    Resetting User Lock Code

Is there anyway to reset the lock codes that people put on the SK2 and SK3? Like when you turn on the phone and to use it you have to put in a code that the person who previously had the SK made?

if you wanted a unlock code, why dont you ask the original seller? sounds shady to me... But no, there is no way to unlock the code.

There is a way, search for it. I even posted how to get around it.

Even after the reset you still have to call t-mobile or else it will just restart and ask for the previous owners login info. you have to call them to get the new info registered on there.

ok..here's the scoop. you have several options in this scenario, not all of them being the most ideal thing but this will help you. the privacy unlock code can only be reset through t-mobile if whoever is currently registered on the device has a sidekick internet plan and was recently online. if you can contact the previous user, you can have them call in and see if we can do anything. option 2. if you can contact the previous user, ask if they remember the three digit unlock code. (THIS IS THE EASIEST!) option 3. start from 000 and work your way up to 999 with every possible combination in between. takes about an hour and a half if you don't stop. option 4. let the phone completely die. i mean, so dead that the phone won't even power up to tell you the battery is so low it is turning off (btw, this will erase the ram from the phone, i hope you don't have anything important saved on there if you do this). once it is completely dead, plug it up to the charger, at the sign in screen press Menu + L to bypass, go disable the privacy lock function, and NEVER add a privacy unlock code again unless you have the sidekick internet feature. Hope this helps!!!

Instead of doing that, do a search and you'll see that resetting the lock code really takes about 45 seconds and no calls to T-Mobile.
