i have a question, i have a cell phone that's prepaid that is going to be forwarded to my other at&t phone.. i have pay as you go.. would i need to pay $ 1 the days that the call forward service is used?

Yes, and not only that, I believe that you'd be charged airtime for the fowarded call accordingly.

the pic is 17.6 KB and is 128 x 128 resolution

the ringtone is a midi file and is only 5.48KB

what am I doing wrong??? Is what I want to do possible?? and if so, how can I do it?

You have to make or receive a phone call to trigger the dollar.

Would wireless data use trigger this $1 charge?

helloo I'm new here, I have question regarding the prepaid from AT&T, I have an unlocked Razr V6 Maxx, but the phone won't connect to the 3g network of AT&T, is there any way to connect to the 3g network??? or you must have a contract??

Yes they do have 3g towers in my area, but I call them and they told me that 3g is not available for prepaid users

Prices before taxes (I live in ohio, and I had around .60 worth of taxes).

The Pantech is the cheapest (without contract) phone with a camera and Java onboard (both Nokia's have Java but lack camera). For $50 I wouldn't consider it a bad purchase.

AT&T/Cingular GoPhones will accept ONLY ringtones and pics from their own site. NOTHING else.

We have a crappy Motorola L2 for work that is on Cingular Network. I was wondering can I buy one of these "GoPhones" at a great price and not activate it or anything and just take the chip/SIM out of my L2 and put it in the new GoPhone and have it work? I would love to upgrade to a better phone but since it is for work I don't want to pay much. The company is too cheap to get us decent phones.

I was thinking of a Pay as you go Phone...
