My friend is on the old inpulse plan where you pay 99cents a day whether you use it or not and has unlimited nights. Is his plan changed automatically or is he able to keep the plan he is on now by doing nothing, you don't want to be hit with 10cents a minute for nights and not know it.

Only changes if he changes it.

That's a good deal for prepay, usually if the plan goes away being it's prepay and no contracts you have to switch to a new plan, at least that was the case with Virgin Mobile.

Nights are just that--9:01PM - 5:59AM, 7 nights a week. The per minute fee is charged during all other times.

Refill Card Expiration:
$15 = expires in 30 days
$30 = expires in 60 days
$75 = expires in 90 days
$150 = expires in 120 days
Once your account has been initialized, it will expire 60 days after you place your first call. 99¢ daily access, calls rated at 10¢ per minute and other charges for available services on your INpulse plan may deplete refill balance prior to its expiration. Your account balance will expire at 12:01 am on the day stated at the time of replenishment. To carry your balance forward, simply buy and initialize another Card/PIN before your expiration date. If balance expires unused portion will be forfeited.

Verizon discontinued them sometime ago when they re-did their INpulse plans.

Correction. The daily fee is only charge if you make or receive a call.

Question about the refill expiration's:

Say I add $30 and 60 days of service, and 50 days later I add $15 and 30 days of service. Do I then have 40 days of service?

Another question, say on day 1 I add $30 and 60 days, I use no airtime and refill on day 58 with another $30. How much money and days of service are in my account on day 61 if I still haven't used any airtime?

Would it be 62 days and $60?

Nope, 30 days.

57 days and $60.

As you can tell, INPulse does not stack.

No you are only charged the daily access fee if you make or receive a call. Texting or using the internet will not set off the daily fee.
