MS has released their new Active Sync for Vista and its much better than the old one.

If you are at work its the firewall policy blocking it. Unplug your network cable and then connect your SDA and it should recognize it.

anyone know how to use the MDA as a modem with this new windows mobile device center? My phone isn't being recognized as a modem, and I don't know what to do. Tried installing from the CD but thats not working.

why have you been waiting. if you have vista already all you have to do is connect your phone with the data cable and vista will automatically connect you to the website to dl the device center. at least thats what mine did
