Thanks, my 6280 had a early firmware on it and I was under the impression you had to take it to an authorized Nokia outlet.Originally Posted by carsmovies

Did anyone find a good case for it yet?
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone in this thread that posted their thoughts, impressions about the phone. I'm thinking about buying either this or the 6300, so I've been following the thread. The slimness of the 6300 and the lack of a pop-port in the 6300 appeal to me, but the E65 doesn't seem too thick to me, at least from pictures. It's much thinner than a 6280, right?
my siggy is not your siggy
Here's a comparison
Just got mine today!!UI is much faster (well, maybe not much but it seems like it) than on my E70. I've loaded Blackberry Connect and have connected to BIS for my home email and BES for the office. Both are working great on T-Mobile.
I have a couple of questions.
Can the E65 read text messages, and announce who is calling using some text-to-speech application?
How's the battery? The phone is now being used for a couple of weeks?
The same for the slider? is he beginning to get more loose, or is he still solid?
tnx in advance!
My E60 can announce who is calling, so i'm sure that E65 can do it as well.Originally Posted by Tha Flipkonijn
I can confirm my e65 will announce caller's name. It's set to off in the profile by default.
does this phone have a front vga camera for calling video feature?
No....................Originally Posted by lastdon00
For those in the US, where are you getting your Transflash cards? Is compatibility an issue? The Manual says it does Video Calling?
Yeah it does video calling like the e61, only receiving video not sending obviously.Originally Posted by TheBrandon
There shouldn't be any compatibility issues with diffrent microSD cards.
Mine actually came with a 256MB card and adapter. It's the Nokia brand. Didn't use it however so stuck in my 1GB Kingston card. Thus far, no issues.
I thought there was a camera on the front for Video calling? You don't mean something else do you? Sorry to sound like a tard.Originally Posted by carsmovies
