Anyone still able to stream radio on $6 Tzplan, specifically Sirius?

So, I broke my Dash last week. TMO sent me a new one (might still have to pay $100 but that is another story) and I can't get Sirius to stream. I had not been to the board in a few weeks so I've not been privvy on some of the plugs that TMO has put into place. But is streaming radio one of them.

I am not able to get a connection to Sirius in order to get a confirmation code. Thus, I think it's something TMO is doing.

I'm on the $5.99 plan that was working just fine last week. I'm using same SIM card and everything just a newer DASH phone. I've unlocked the phone, tried the proxy, and tried to remember all the tricks I did last time to get it to work. But if they've plugged some holes then I might be wasting time. HELP.

There are a bunch of threads on network issues. They mayhave finally covered that whole in their service.

The answer is probably not. I couldn't get it to work when it first went down

ok, thanks. I didn't want to waste any more of my time trying to get something to work if it's not even possible.

Looks like they might have done a great bait and switch...

get everyone hooked on data and then yank the rug out from other them or force them to pay the ridiculous $30.00 for the same dang plan.

Well, it looks like I can access Google Maps, Opera, etc. Java aps but not Sirius. Which stinks because I actually use Sirius and not the other apps.

Make sure you're not using the WAP proxy as this will block your access. It appears the network problems (at least for me) have been resolved and I am able to stream sirius on my Dash.

OK, I'll try that. Thanks. Like I said, I can't even get to the connection to enter the scrambled letters point in the log in process.

Well, I got it to work, sorta. I had to change to the BB plan and it's working very hit and miss. I'll drop the BB plan in a day or two and hope for the best.

    How about STAYING connected

I've been connecting using the proxy and T-Zone plan since I upgraded to the MDA a year ago . Well, now that I have learned to stream radio, the connection closes after 4 minutes . Also, I've noticed I can't just open PIE and surf the web and have it load right away. I have to disconnect and then click a link which will activate the connection to the internet . Is there anyway around this?

Well, I cancelled the BB plan and Sirius is working on the $6.00 plan but it shuts off after four or five minutes. I guess it's the beginning of the end for this deal...

Turn off your proxy and see how it works. This is a known limitation of the proxy server (appx 1mb limit).
