Has anyone tried to VoIP over 3G (instead of over Wifi)? The switch enabling VoIP over 3G is off (default) and hidden from UI. The only way to change it (putting switch in ON position) is either OMA DM message or SISx file. It's what I have learnt from Nokia documents (forum.nokia.com). Has anyone written SISx file tha I (and others) could use?

I would like to know that too, but meanwhile you can use voip (skype and sip) via Fring which easily works on UMTS, Funnily enough I find it even works a bit better on 3G that on My home wifi network
.
Just wondering if anyone knows why the My Own Key can be either a globe (which is on my E65) or it can be the circular "starburst" key (as shown on the Nokia website)?
Just purchased and must say so far it's a great phone. A couple of problems, the Bluetooth when connected to my BH800 and BH900 has a lot of static and poor reception if I have the phone in a pocket. Also, I can' t seem to get it to work with isync on my Mac. Anyone have any suggestions?
Wirelessly posted (The Eliteness: Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413 es65)

TIA.
On mine it's a globe. On O2's from europe (not sure which country) it's a message envelope. I use mine for the music player so i'd hate the latter

The HK version of the phone seem to have the globe, while all others have the star.

E65 seems to have poor Bluetooth. I can only get 3-4K when transferring files to the E65, while I can easily get 50+K with other phones such as the N70.
Well lets take the phones from the last year ..SE k610, W810,,
even my old 6230 had a better speaker
I'm not sure about those SE's but the 6230s speaker is really a let down imo. It plays back music and video at an insane volume but it's ringtones and speaker phone were too faint for my liking. I still use it every Friday as my "beater" phone and the ringer volume drives me nuts. Speakerphone is not an option while driving where I can throw my E62 in the trunk and still listen to the conversation. I have yet to use an E65 but I cant imagine it being softer than the 6230. Maybe you've got a bad batch or something.
My E65's own button is a star, and it's the asian version. Oh and by the way if anyone has ever asked this yet, what's the CPU speed of the E65? It better be as fast or faster than the N80
I would say that it's the same, might seem faster though due to the smaller size of the screen which the CPU has to handle
The jbenchmark test show 232MHz processor while the HAL info shows 206MHz which is rather untrue

I purchased my E65 in Hong Kong, but it's actually a unit from Singapore.
When I was looking at the handset in the shop, I actually thought the My Own Key had been scratched. It's only after closer inspection that I realised it was a globe!
