    In his defense, CDMA is actually newer technology than GSM. Also, EVDO is faster than EDGE, GSM is only now surpassing CDMA when it comes to data.

    And i'm not biased to CDMA, I work for Rogers.

    EVDO is 3G while EDGE is generally considered 2.75G, so HSDPA would be a better comparison.
