There is no reconcile now option because e-mail on a BlackBerry is not synced the way it is with wireless Exchange; the e-mail is pushed from the server (at RIM) to the device at which point it no longer resides on RIM's server, whereas Exchange (SP2 or whatever) and ActiveSync use fake push, utilizing a heartbeat.
There is a reconcile now option on a blackberry. However I believe you have to be on a BES to use it.
finally got CS to note that I'm eligible for an early upgrade...

-100 mail-in rebate

Reconcile now is more closely related with the syncing of contacts, calendars, memos, etc., than with push email. It _is_ sync-type reconciliation, rather than the push of e-mail.
you can't add [PDA SMS 2000 AllOWANCE] to the blackberry, I tried unsuccessfully about 5 or 6 times and it was just taken off when i switched form my xv6700. Everyone says it wont allow them to do it with the blackberry handset.
Bummer.
I was hoping to keep it when migrating from a WM5 device to a BB. Oh well, its understandable as the SMS 2000 was only for WM5 phones using the AUTD method of pushing email.

YAY!
I've always wondered about the dual pricing plans! I also ordered mine today. She put me on the accelerated New every Two program by about 20 days and gave me the 8830 for 317.99, the travel charger, leather case and blue tooth headphones for 59.97 and next day fed ex for 19. I also got the 100 mail in rebate. My total price was 406.85, after rebate will be 306.85.
Oh, I'm not on a business plan either
finally got my 8830 today after much hassle, order screw ups, etc...

OMG they screwed up my order and now I'm not getting it until noonish Tuesday.
They had so many issues processing my order that the supervisor apparently had to step in and he's giving me the 399 new every two deal, a 100 renewal discount, a 100 data plan discount and the mail in discount of 100 plus the leather case, car charger and bluetooth headphones for a total of 280.86 before 100 mail in discount (also including 15 something in taxes)
