Now has programing for multiple email accounts to become separated out from text messaging. (similar to the treo's message interface). Release date not out yet but rumors of June...?...

Any one else heard of anymore information. The person that told me my info told me they had to sign disclosures to not say anything about the "exclusive" VZW BB.

    Possible Release Date

HTC Kid is reporting on engadgetmobile.com that the 8830 will be released to Business Channels on May 14 and Consumer Channels on May 29. "His" info on past phone releases has usually proven to be reliable, so hopefully this will be the case. I called my co's VZW Biz Care Rep and she has confirmed that internal chatter is picking up on the device and it is appearing in some company documents as a new release. She could not confirm the date. May 14th is a Monday; I thought VZW releases new devices on a Tuesday?

Bluetooth DUN is supported by Verizon today with the Treo 700p. They charge an extra $15 on top of the unlimited data service, but I have it and use it all the time. Verizon even has a Windows desktop utility (VZAccessManager) to manage the connection.

Part of the challenge is that many of the VZW customer service people don't know it exists, but if you search the Treo forums you can find the specific feature to request.

BTW, there is also a hack out there to enable BT DUN for free but I decided to go the legit route.

The device, which will cost $299.99 with a two-year contract after a $100 rebate starting May 14 online and May 28 in stores, is aimed at solving ...
