Does anyone have experience with non-OEM housings for the w810i?

I want to change the housing on my w810i, but I sorta want something different from the oem black and white housings. I came across other colored ones on ebay, and was wondering if anyone has any insight on them?

you are risking alot of the housing might not fit properly, the buttons usually are crap. and the first one look at the logos. they are crap. so if u want to risk it then go ahead but i suggest u not to get it.

got mine from this guy (see my sig)....fits like a glove. The only complaint is that they don't come with the inner foam/insulation but u can get it at cnn.cn. He was a bit slow w/ my shipping tho.

Bar phones are usually pretty easy for doing housing swaps with, I wonder if you would be able to peel off the foam from your original housing and just use that? I've done that with other cellphones easily enough.

Non-OEM housings are pretty much hit or miss. At best, stay with OEM. If not, the use housings that are stated as high grade quality.

Looks like the seller has some decent feedback. I've generally had good luck with non-oem housings myself.

Don't know who he is...i just bought stuff from him, but didn't take him out for lunch. The foam thingy helps with the volume & u know the w810 needs all the help with that.

Search the forum...there has been numerous posts on housing swap how-to's.....yes pretty easy but some have had problems w/ losing reception cause they screw up the antenna.

What we would like to know is Who the seller is.
got mine from this guy (see my sig)....fits like a glove.
All there is, is a pic in your sig, no indication who "this guy" is, or link to where you bought it, is it from ebay? Online store for cellphones? Do you have a link to "this guy" ebay store if that's where it is from?

Ahhhh, ok I get it now
It was your phrasing of it, threw me off lmao!
When you said "got mine from this guy (see my sig)" it seemed like you were saying there was a link or something else to where you got the housing in your sig instead of from the guy the OP posted links to
