Help me decide my next phone

Ok guys so my U.S CELLULAR contract is gonna expire soon. Im thinking about switching to T-MOBILE since I can get a full 5 bars even in my basement. Im trying to decide on whether to get the sidekick 3 or the dash. Does anyone know if the sidekick 3 internet is slower or faster than the dash's? I plan on using the t zones $5.99 plan for the dash. I've been reading that this 5.99 plan can be used with the dash which is why im considering getting it. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

p.s. Does anyone know any spots in Chicago where I can get either of these phones for cheap?

Dash is more full featured as the data is direct from T-mobile (through the proxy work around for the T-zones plan). Danger's data goes through their servers first so webpages that are not often used are slower, but popular ones tend to load very fast.

For example: On my dash Yahoo is loading in about 10-15 seconds. SK3 it loads in 3-5 seconds. Both times are after the initial connection (Dash connects faster there and SK lags at about 10-20 seconds recently). On the SK the entire page will be load pretty fast after the initial connection since Danger is reformatting it, but it will be slower up front. on the Dash the data starts coming in faster, but takes overall longer to fully load (using IE, must faster with other pocket browsers).

IMs are much faster and more reliable on the SK. However the Dash can connect to a laptop and offer full data on the laptop (if you are using the $5.99 plan some ports will be blocked in some areas).

Not sure how well the connection with the $5.99 plan works. Look over the the T-mobile Windows mobile forum. Lots of info there. Most smartphones can tether over BT.
