Watch it now. The reason I said that was because people are saying that the Dash's WM6 OS is coming out on that day, and you come and say the MDA will have WM6. I am wondering if that is true, since T-Mobile will be releasing their MDA updated device in May.

What? Um... What? That question doesn't make sense. The Dash is a smartphone, the "Wing" (Atlas, Herald) is a PDA phone. They're not even the same kind of device, and WM6 isn't going to change that. Get the Dash if you want a smartphone or wait for the Atlas/Wing/whatever (for the love of god, T-Mobile, give us an official name for the damn device already!) if you want a PDA phone.

excuse my stupidity but what does this mean exactly? Does it mean if you buy the dash after May 4th, it will come with WM6? What about us poeple who already own the Dash?

    Well, I'll be! Looky here.

I don't see much reason why it won't work with the US version of the S620.

According to what I here at work, there will be no update (WM6) for the MDA since T-Mobile will be trying to push the new HTC "whatever it may be". Only the Dash will get it since that's gonna be T-Mobiles only SP till late Fall.

That's just what Iv heard at work.

Worse case, you might need to cid unlock the dash.

I got my Dash unlocked before I traveled to Germany. This should allow me to install the HTC WM6 firmware on my Dash, ja?

Depends. If was sim unlocked. No.. You will just be able to use a different sim card. If it was cid unlocked, yes. (like the link above). Just Sim unlock. (like getting the code from t-mobile) won't to it.
