Yo, WM6 is much better. You really need to tweak it and remove some of the applciations that start up like My5 if you don't have the service through T-Mobile. My Dash files because of the multiple tweaks I did. Look here for really great tweaks that will speed up your device...

DON'T DO THE FATFS TWEAK which is the second one in the speed increase tweak.

I didn't use 32768, I used 65536 which is double 32768. I still have Voice Command running too

I was loading music on it. I gave up and just put the microsd chip in the front of my pc. It's now seconds.

    Angry

Hmm... well, I got and applied the update, but now my Dash is in a constant reboot loop. It plays the T-Mobile boot sound and shows the boot screen... shows the new Windows Mobile screen and then reboots over and over. I made a backup of my phone, but I can't even get to it since the phone keeps rebooting. Any ideas? Maybe a hard reset? I tried the "hold the 2 soft keys and power the phone on" thing, but that doesn't do anything...

Update -- Well, removing the microSD card let me boot the phone fine... we'll see, heh. Strange.

Mine did a reset loop only once and got out of it. Try hard resetting...

The majority of the previous steps are correct, but as stated, won't work. I had to follow the correct steps twice before the reset took effect so don't give up after the first try. Start with Dash powered off.

    1. PRESS AND HOLD BOTH SOFT KEYS.
    2. WHILE HOLDING DOWN SOFT KEYS, PRESS & HOLD POWER BUTTON 3-5 SEC. (PHONE SHOULD POWER ITSELF ON BY DOING THIS)
    3. RELEASE ALL THREE KEYS
    4. WHEN SCREEN ON DASH LOOKS LIKE IT'S IN DOS FORMAT, PRESS THE SEND INSTEAD OF THE "0" AS LISTED ABOVE

    GOOD LUCK!

Oh I don't so I can't help you with that. I don't think MyFaves is slowing down your device as much as Voice Command. But try out those tweaks first but be careful. Its still the Registry.

Took the plunge and everything worked great. Had the same problem others have had and had to restart the install due to the phone losing the connection the PC.

TMCP works fine on my phone. Just got done adding all the programs I use to run the iPhone skin and everything seems to work great.

Really don't seem much difference in WM6 compared to WM5 and to me it its just a service pack to WM5. I'm guessing that's why it will be a free download on May 4th. We all know if it was really a new OS, that Windows would make us pay for it to make the most money.

For those of you using Mail2Web, I have noticed a problem putting in 'domain' when setting up the exchange server. It doesnt allow you to put anything in that spot.
Enter the domain 1st, i.e. before you type anything into the username or password fields. The domain is only greyed out after you start typing in the username field.

    Cheers.

I am not sure why some folks diss this upgrade as "marginal" or "service pack"-like. Built-in Voice Command plus Pocket Office makes it a fantastic upgrade in an of itslef, and the price is certainly right
