I couldn't delete it either - but I was able to rename it with Total Commander. I just changed the extension from .lnk to .lnk2

WM does not know what to do with it - so it ignores it.

Both these are "grayed" out so that I cannot select them. I am trying to set up push mail with mail2web but so far no luck. Am I doing something stupid? Thanks,

BTW JAmerican your right wm6 is way better installed it again last night tweaked it as you said now it runs so smooth i like using this thing called Oxiox closeapps and hibernate better than celetask but yeah thanks again bro

The Task Manager by Blade2032 shows processes running and not the programs running like celetask does.

Just open up your web browser and surf to a webpage. That will turn on your Data Connection. Then, after you add the exchange server, all you have to do is set it to check 'When Items Arrive' and the direct push will no longer be grayed out either.

Installed yesterday so far so good they released a fix for sling player that works fine. The only thing i dont like its the when you lock the phone its going to prompt you for the password everytime, instead of waiting for 1 hour of idle time which i have it set too

Tried that, TC creates a copy whenever I try to rename it, so the original is still there...

Blade2032 is no longer offering this software, there's a message on thier site.

So far I've tried:

Windows Explorer - sharing violation when renamed
Celetask - not listed under processes or applications
Blade2032 task manager - not available
Total Commander - copy created when renamed

There has to be a way....

Any other suggestions?

I think someone wrote an app/hack/plugin over at Modaco that let you make new docs in WM6 standard. Might be worth doin some lookin over there.

1. DashWeather - Starts, but I get errors whenever I try to get any forecasts.


These do, as I have tried them out afterwards.

1. Autokeylock
2. Surreal Networks Cabs - Silent Boot/shutdown, App Unlock
3. Vikea Copy/Paste


I've also got my Wifi hooked up perfectly, and pretty easily, and my bluetooth too. Bluetooth synching seems to only connect if you use a 4 number pin when you connect to your PC, anything larger or with letters, and no worky.

I'll update this list as I work some more.

Even if you put in the domain first, once you put in the "@" in your username, the item you entered for domain will disappear. Because it is interpreting what you enter AFTER @ as the domain. But for mail2web, the domain is ad2...

Because this is happening, I dont have the full functionality of Mail2Web. For example, my boss cant invite me to meetings. While it will be on my Web exchange, it wont download onto my Dash.

Try setting up mail2web from the device (using ActiveSync)

Can you verify if you have GPRS/EDGE setup on the phone with the TMo settings? Can you browse to a site using PIE just to make sure?

Im not sure if this has been posted, i hope i didnt skip over it, but when my dash screen times out and goes dark, i get a white screen instead. i hope i explained that right, i noticed there was a "unlock screen clock" option in the settings. im wondering if this is a bug or something that i didnt configure right?

Someone mentioned something about WM6 requiring Exchange 2007 at the server level for push email to work? Is that correct? If that is the case, then I won't be able to upgrade since I have to use PUSH for my company email?

Dckiwi, you may have already tried this, but this worked for me.

In Celetask, under menu goto view->processes i/o tasks. Thats when the my5** stuff showed up. I was able to terminate those and delete them from activesync. Hope this works for you too.
