So, for the people that have/had Wm5, and decided to upgrade to WM6, would you say its worth it, or is WM6 really a WM5 but with a glossy Vista look? I don't want to spend money on a Dash with Wm6, and it not be worth it. Same with the upcoming T-Mobile Wing.
go to start menu then click music player plug-in and click show on home screen
What do you want to see pictures of? I will be posting a bunch of pictures shortly!!Originally Posted by terryjohnson16

found it thanks so far my opinons seems faster in opening folders and navigating n the menus so far so good
It just takes a while to boot. Took mine a full 3 minutes to get off that screen.Originally Posted by neggie

In my opinion its worth to upgrade even though there aren't any big changes. I really hoped they had a password protection feature for messaging![]()
I installed it using vista and it initially saw my dash when i first started the installation. Then my dash turned off and turned to a screen that had 4 colors with some text on it. My PC then gave me an error that the dash was disconnected and that i need to check the connection and try again. I thought i bricked my phone but when i opened the installation program again it went through smooth.Originally Posted by deemota
I think this error is caused when the installation program starts and turns off the phone, when it turns back on it tries to install a generic driver. When it finishes installing the driver the installation program gives you an error. Just reopen the installation program and it should work fine.
Hope this helps.......
Anyone get blackberry connect working on WM6?
I just want to see pics of how the OS looks while on the device. And also what programs Wm6 gives. Thanks. I used Wm5, and it wasn't that good. I hated the fact that it takes all your SIM info such as the contacts and copies them and stores them on the device. I didn't like that.Originally Posted by jamerican
TCPMP DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE!!! Just letting people know.Originally Posted by terryjohnson16
It actually feels slower not faster. I am going to be doing some refinements and posting what works and what doesn't.

Interesting! I thought html mail was only supported through an exchange (2007) server? My exchange direct push through mail2web isn't html.Originally Posted by danska
Are you accessing Yahoo through POP or is it push?
Maybe the same will work for Gmail. I'd love to stop using mail2web and get HTML gmail, but I don't want to give up direct push.
Voice command still doesn't work over Bluetooth out of the box (like the beta). You can still use the registry hack to get it to work though! It works great after it's changed!
