Use T-Mobile Default Blue. I don't have MyFaves so I just removed the service. I also is disabled by default.

Really don't seem much difference in WM6 compared to WM5 and to me it its just a service pack to WM5. I'm guessing that's why it will be a free download on May 4th. We all know if it was really a new OS, that Windows would make us pay for it to make the most money.
I agree, but this was the case when WM5 became available as well. It wasn't much of an upgrade, but an update, to WM2003. I guess Microsoft is pretty content with Windows Mobile, as users seem to be, otherwise they'd make significant changes I think.

Regarding it being free, well, you might be right. I don't think we've seen enough development in this area to make a judgment like that. When WM5 was released the hardware was changed significantly in that it stores data differently, so this is the first time that this "generation" of WM has allowed an OS upgrade to existing hardware. I guess we'll have to wait and see if they start to market OS upgrades to mobiles as they do PCs in the future. I'd buy an upgrade, if it were worth the cost. WM6 would not be worth it to me.

Hmm... Is anyone having problems booting their Dash with a microSD card in it? I've got a one gig SanDisk microSD card that worked perfectly fine in WM5. But when I boot my phone with the card inserted, it goes into a reboot loop. If I remove the card, the phone boots fine.

If I boot the phone and then insert the card "hot", the phone can see the Storage Card and its contents... any ideas?

What's the formatting on the card? My card is FAT32 SanDisk 2GB card. I recommend you copy the contents of the card to your PC and format your card FAT32 and try that. What do you mean by "hot"?

Oh, by "hot" I simply mean I insert the card while the phone is on. But I'll try your suggestion about the formatting. Thanks for all the help.

Isn't it sweet?!? I know it isn't much of an upgrade, but I prefer WM6 over WM5 any day. Not for speed, etc., but for the few minor usability enhancements.

I didn't use 32768, I used 65536 which is double 32768. I still have Voice Command running too

Jah, what registry editor did you use, (and where might I get it?)
And any info on the tweaking programs you use would be helpful.
    Please & Thank You.

BTW, like your page. Very useful.

    Hi JAmerican,

How did you manage to remove MyFaves? I've been trying to delete the startup link to no avail.

    Cheers.

I can't remember how to get my Facade homescreen to stay on reboots. I had the same issue with the beta, and I think I did a regedit or deleted something else. Anyone else remember how to make sure my homescreen is tehre on reboot?

Remove the My5 link from the \Windows\Startup folder.

Is anybody worried that this "official" update has a misspelling on the install screen?

"Please do not lanuch any program during the update process"
