Hello. Tried the hack from dashsmart forums to get flashing led quicker when sms arrived, but cannot get it to work. Anybody here that can give a supereasy step-by-step guide to make it work? Is it possible to use that hack on the WM6 rom?

You can't. Delete the account and recreate it.

I mean, as far as I know, anyway.

The problem is that WM6 is using the information from the first email account I setup to partially "auto" create the second and third. I have 3 email accounts with @swbell.net, after I create the first one WM6 is using the information from that one when I go to create the second and third. The problem is WM6 auto names the second and third accounts swbell.net and swbell.net1. I want to name them something different. I like the auto create feature, but I want to be able to assign my own Account display name.

You have to delete the accounts and setup the account in the messagesing section, not in the start menu and "set up new email. If you do it from the later it will allow you to change the name on the account, but only during the setup, and not afterwards.

Search for Celetask. Use it to cancel the process first then delete the link

Just installed: Few questions.

1. I thought you could create word documents now. Is this not the case? I see that I can edit existing ones but when I click to open Word, it just brings up my documents!

2. Anyone using Facade? Does it work with WM6?

3. Has anyone tested the alarm? Does it work now?

for #1, you can't create a document but make some sort of template, like a blank word document that you could use

I think someone wrote an app/hack/plugin over at Modaco that let you make new docs in WM6 standard. Might be worth doin some lookin over there.

I had an error while installing sniper under wm6 (pop up message said that it need some sort of .cab file), sniper itself is installed and I can run it but when I start scan immediately notifications comes saying that there’s no Bluetooth devices in range.
Anybody with sniper working correctly?

Has anyone else tried setting up their Yahoo account? I tried it because I read that it worked for someone else here and it's working for me!! Does yahoo no longer require we pay for this anymore??

Does anyone know how to solve this problem... here is what I said and the response:

For those of you using Mail2Web, I have noticed a problem putting in 'domain' when setting up the exchange server. It doesnt allow you to put anything in that spot.

Enter the domain 1st, i.e. before you type anything into the username or password fields. The domain is only greyed out after you start typing in the username field.

However, after you type in the username as: username@mail2web.com , the @ symbol causes you not to be able to put anything in the domain spot. Even if you put in the domain first, once you put in the "@" in your username, the item you entered for domain will disappear. Because it is interpreting what you enter AFTER @ as the domain. But for mail2web, the domain is ad2...

Because this is happening, I dont have the full functionality of Mail2Web. For example, my boss cant invite me to meetings. While it will be on my Web exchange, it wont download onto my Dash.
