    Profiles missing in WM6

Anyone else notice that when connected to a headset over Bluetooth, the Headset profile is no longer activated. In fact, the Headset and Car profiles are not in WM6.

Does Wm6 still take all the SIM numbers from your SIM card and put it on the phone itself?

Pardon me if this has been asked a hundred times in the past 24 pages, but...

I flashed my Dash (haha, I made a funny!) to WM6 with the 'official' updater... it went well... but it was DOG SLOW. A few extra megs of RAM in use, but the phone was REALLY slow.

With WM5, I had 19-20MB free at any given time and menus were snappy. I never noticed screen redraws. And that's with the MyFaves thing running as a service on the home screen.

With WM6, I had 13-14MB free, and things were slow. Slow to move from item to item in menus, and I could see boxes redraw.

Needless to say, I flashed back to WM5.

Did I do something wrong? Was it just the voice commands running that made it so slow? Any ideas?

There are quite a few posts stating that the voice command slows things down quite a bit. Did you try deactivating it? Did you get rid of the myfavs startup?

No, I was just comparing apples to apples, you know? I just got the Dash a couple days ago, so I really had almost nothing on there except my Exchange mail. So I fiddled a bit, played with WM5, flashed it, played with WM6... went "wow this is slow as mud", and flashed back. Haven't done it again, and didn't really tweak it at all while it was running.

Edit: While I'm in here - is the FAQ everyone is talking about here in the Howard Forums somewhere?
