What Straight Talk phones use the AT&T internet service ??? I was told by Walmart Tech that the Android phones use Sprint, The smart phones use Verizon service , and the dumb phones use the AT&T internet service.
Can anyone verify this info as accurate or inacurate ??? I was wanting a droid but no service from sprint is in my home area.

if you want to get att service with straight talk you need to go online to buy a sim card only. i got mine for 15$ at straighttalksim.com.. all of their android phones u see at walmart use sprint and the rest use verizon or att

Hello ST uses all three which have androids available ATT, Verizon, and Sprint right now ther is only one for AT&T ( The Merit ZTE Z990 ) GSM Service there is a small code on box with an A on the end of code ( on display at walmart store )
Also ATT and Verizon Both have a $50 Prepaid Unlimited talk, text, and data plan. I am starting to look my self

verizon has unlimited but not for smart phones i believe they have one but its 80$ a month for 1gb of internet. att has smartphones for unlimited talk and text for 50$ but you need to buy data separately. depending on your area you can order a straight talk android that uses verizon 3g service its called samsung galaxy proclaim

can you use an unlocked android phone (SE acro S) without a data plan? its for my parents i just want to get them a smart phone b/c the screens are a bit larger....

hello: I am grandfathered on the PDA Personal Unlimited plan without voice for $35 a month plus tax. If AT&T decides to kick me out of this plan, what plan will I be bumped to?

Why would they kick you off of your plan? They haven't said anything about retiring grandfathered plans.

I received the famous tethering letter. Right now I dont have a voice plan and I do not need one. If they switch me to the 5GB data plan, will they also slap a voice plan on me? I understand the currently available data plans also require having a voice plan, so I am in an unique situation. Any comments appreciated.
