I just got my EnV2 flashed to cricket today, and before I got it flashed I was able to send and recieve messages to email address without any problems. Now I am still able to send to emails, but when I recieve messages it is a problem. When i send to <mytendigitnumber@sms.mycricket.com> it comes up with random letters, symbols, and numbers. If I send to <mytendigitnumber@mms.mycricket.com> it tries recieving the message but turns off, or it said "unable to recieve message". I'm not sure how to fix this?

It removed the file under it. So I'm assumeing that's Y my web doesn't work..... I'l have 2 fix that

The phone keeps replacing MIN with MDN after I hit write in NV edit. I checked the OWS and my param1 is the same as the tutorial since I changed 00 to 20. I don't know what else to check..I also called cricket and had them double check and reset my account...that didn't work either

I notice that with the U350, I would use the MDN@mycricket.com, but with this phone, I'm supposed to use the MIN. Is there a reason for that? I'd think they'd authenticate the same way.

Have you tried with a phone with an MDN that's different from the MIN?

(Sorry for the thread necromancy, if this is too old a thread.)

    Thanks,
    J

My MDN is diffrent from my MIN... 4 some reason the phone is set 2 MDN@mycricket.com. I've tried 2 change it 2 MIN@mycricket.com through LG Download but it just changes back. I even had Cricket do an account reset.... I'm not sure what 2 do now... Everything else works It's just the internet that's a problem..... Everytime I try 2 get on the internet I get "HTTP error:504 Gateway Timeout"

    EnV2

Hi I don't mean to be noob, and yes I have searched a TON and couldn't find much.

Anyways, will this work with an EnV2?

Also can you detail me on what things need to be different for the EnV2 to work? I'm not too worried about mobile web or brew. All I want is...

    Send/Receive Calls
    Send/Receive SMS and MMS
    Call Waiting
    Voice Mail

My Kyocera Lingo doesn't vibrate well anymore :P Time to trash that little ugly piece of crap haha. Found a great deal for a red EnV2 on craigslist. 80$ 0.0 lucky.

But yeah if you could give me details on what settings need to be different than in the tutorial or different files / seperate steps for EnV2 that'd be great. I don't want a brick, I'm freaking poor. Thanks. You guys own.

Oh btw I live in Pittsburgh, PA. That's not AWS or unflashable right?

Thanks again, please don't flame me

The ONLY diffrence is U need 2 use the 9100.dll for LG Download... It actualy says that on the 1st page of this thread... Other then that this tutoral works perfect on an enV2... I've already done 2

I also have a solution for 403 forbidden just means that you do not have the plan. Means you can not use the $40 or just add on internet you must get the $ 50 plan for it to work trust me.

Yep You Have To Get Mobile Web On Your Plan For Your Internet To Work. It Will Say "403 Forbidden".
