I'm having this same issue it's real important. Is there a fix?

Also when I try to edit the WAP settings with LG Download 1.6 in NV edit, the MIP MODE and most of the other settings are grayed out and won't let me change them? What's with this?

Sorry for double post. No edit button?

Anyways, I fixed the WAP thing,

DO NOT USE LG DOWNLOAD 1.6 it won't let you edit WAP or MMS

So I went and found LG Download 1.3.x (hard one to find) and now it works.

But the big iffy is the emails! Any emails sent to mynumber@sms.mycricket.com or w/e come out in like WEIRD characters? It's really odd. But I need that fixed like, for sure.

Sigh, I freaking used this guys SCR file to get the WAP/MMS working but HE DID NOT SAY it included brew so it deleted my friggin media player and I'm sooo mad cause cricket's brew is crap!!!

Anyways. I found that there is a media player inside of the service menu on EnV2?

    ##LGSERVICEMENU
    send
    000000
    Go to Media Center Settings.
    Go to Media Center
Choose anything, then after it connects hit CLR to go back.
Then you can see 3 icons,
Get New Applications, Media Player, and QCamcorder.

There's a media player if you really want to play MP3's or whatever, but it's such a hassle!

Maybe there could be someway to make it if you click media player it takes you right to that. Idk.

Hope to see the Media player fixed asap >.<

I got the prl to load, and *228 I can hear cricket, but OTA programming fails.

    *mod edit*

ESN Cloning - DO NOT use clone, cloned, change etc for ESN if we have reason to believe you are CLONING or ILLEGALLY changing ESN’S on phones to use with other providers you will BE BANNED THIS IS YOUR WARNING any threads or posts about this will be LOCKED AND DELETED.
Cloning and changing ESN’S is illegal in most Countries. If you need help in repairing an ESN then you may ask, again IF WE HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE YOU ARE CHANGING OR CLONING PHONES YOU WILL BE BANNED. Example of a repair, “I used emergency mode in LG downloader for my Verizon Chocolate because I killed the phone. Is there a way to recover or repair my ESN or MEID.”

    Treo

You might try *22806 or 4. I think that's what I had to use.

As far as using to phones withe the same serial... You can, but they interfere with each other. If one makes a call, it will disconnect the others call. And you might miss some calls.

And I would imagine you aleady know something about changing the esn if you were able to change it back.

that's not what he was asking

he wants to clone which is a sever violation of forum rules and also FCC federal cloning laws

notice where he asks if he can have 2 phones on one account
QUESTIONS BELONG IN THREADS, NOT IN PMs!!!

I am no longer an active participant of this forum. Please do not PM me expecting to receive a response.

Okay first off, in order for *228 to work on cricket you have to CALL them (611) first and tell them you have a flashed phone and you want to use it on your line. They will then ask you for the ESN or another number and then they will tell you to *228. *228 will not program unless you have talked to a cricket representative and given them your ESN.

DO NOT CHANGE YOUR ACTUAL ESN. And two lines on same number with cell phones is ILLEGAL (for now, until they offer it for mroe money or something)

Anyways I managed to get my phone completely back to normal after installing brew. Nothing is gone forever. If you don't want brew then you don't have to worry about losing the media player. I refurbished my enV2 and got everything back to normal. But oddly enough I can't find the src file again... It was posted on this forum somewhere o.o if I find it again I'll post a link.

Anyways after refurbishing it back to normal and getting everything back I went through the flashing process again and now I have it working perfectly (calling, SMS, MMS, mobile web, AND still have media player and a 4gb microsd) and have been using it with no issues for a month and a half. The only issue is that any emails sent to mynumber@sms.mycricket.com come out in weird characters. I wish this would be fixed >.>.

I'll leave that one alone. Nice to here from you though.

I've been reading through some of the posts here, and I've heard people talking about getting the mms working on the cricket treos.

    Is that true?
