I went through all of the steps for my enV2 and it didn't take. I don't know what I am missing. I fixed the first problem I was having with NV Edit though. I was using the wrong dll. Now, I don't know why I can't get passed changing the WAP settings. Any ideas?

same bin is fine, but dll must be for lgnpst

your file path is almost correct

    it was actually: C:\LG Electronics\LG Download\Models\VX10K
new one would be: C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\Models\VX10K

you should easily see that when you install the app

Click on "find phone". It should find it automatically for you. Then click on file system. You should be able to see it from there.

Also make sure you aren't connected to any other program such as QPST, LG Download, etc. that may be a problem.

Otherwise, just keep tinkering with the program until you get it...

Yeah, I guess I am going to have to stop giving so many handouts. People need to figure things out on their own. Posting for every little problem doesn't make you better at flashing. Just means you want something for nothing. Don't want to pay for it, search for it, or even mess with it until they get it right.

    more info still need help

i am using dll version 0.1.46.0 vx9900dll. i am using a vx9900. in the "wap tab" password i am all good. it is the "data tab" where the problems arise. when i write a value to "SIP PASSWORD" or "AN PASSWORD" Lg downloader says successful write, but when i go to read it, both of those values dissappear. thus i receive and error message telling me to call 611 and enable wireless services, which i am positive i have currently. i have manually entered the values you can find in "wap tab" that is not the issue. also QPST does not allow me to successfully write these two values either. its so strange all other values are no problem but the SIP PASSWORD and the AN PASSWORD are killing me. I no longer have a good copy of QXDM so i can not check its effectiveness. Does someone out there possibly have a metropcs specific "paramtable1.fil"? maybe this will help? I totally understand changing that 00 value to 20. I really cannot understand what is going on. I am close to just trying this metro wap on a verizon phone thing on a samsung. any help super appreciated. Thanks

can anyone post the vx5200.dll msi file so i can try this LG metro wap stuff on another phone. a vx8100.dll msi file will help too.

to the guy with all the LGs with wap enabled, do you need or have any desire "repair" any of the esns. you can have all those phone working at the same time. i can take you thru the process step by step.

when you read, the passwords should be blank...the value is there, but it is write only...you cannot read it out...this is true with lg download as well as with qpst

your problem is obviously something else...there are so many things it could be, i wouldn't know where to start

    1. triple check all settings for accuracy
    2. verify active wap on acct
    3. refresh acct
