a bit of help with voyager
ok so several people have said that using this tutorial for envy i could enable web on my voyager for metro pcs but im having a bit of trouble:
"In Bitpim click on “View”, “View Filesystem”. Then click on “Filesystem” from the list on the left window.
Navigate to /OWS/paramtable1.fil Right click and copy it to your hard drive.
Download HexEdit
Make sure you've already made a backup copy of your paramtable1.fil file.
Open paramtable1.fil in HexEdit and change the 3rd byte from 00 to 20 and click File, Save As, but make sure you save it as the exact same file name.
but in bitpim i cant seem to find the /OWS/paramtable1.fil file in dmu folder to edit, & the only thing in dmu folder is 10key file.
so i searched the files in the phone a bit more & the closest one was nvm_lg_param file. is this the file i edit in hexeditor? or is it that bitpim is
not reading the entire phone?
i have the latest version of bitpim,
i have changed prl on a few other phones, flashed & activated storms on metro with web as well as a few other phones but this is my first voyager...help?
I've used this tutorial many times but I can't get mms working on my 8610. This is the second time I flashed it over to cricket from verizon with no luck. My settings match the tutorial but message fails to send or receive (message delivery failed)for outgoing and (message receipt failed) for incoming...any clues???
noobolicious its great you got it fixed on your own but im having the same issue not looking for a hand out but if i cant find the file where do i start?
please help

There is a diffrent file U need 2 edit on this phone & the VX9700 (DARE)....
It's the FBdata file I think it's called... Just search the VX10000... There is a tutoral on it... That will fill in the gap

I am new, and have what may be a dumb question, so please bear with me. I recently had my Verizon LG Dare vx9700 flashed over to Boost Mobile. That worked fine, I can get calls and SMS, but I'd like MMS and WAP. I've read up on the procedure, I have all the software, am using the 9100 dll and have already edited the fileDB. My assumption is that I need to edit things like my SIP NAI but instead of ....@mycricket.com I need something like my number@myboostmobile.com or something like that. Am I correct in assuming that with the right values I can get MMS and WAP working on my LG with Boost's network using the Cricket procedure? Thanks in advance,
I just got the verion 8300 phone from a cricket dealer already flashed to cricket, can I skip a few steps and just activate the web browser part so that it works? Or do I have to do it all from the beginning. I haveent tested my mms yet but I think it already works I'll know in a few minutes haha! Any information would be helpful thanks in advance.
