would this work for metro? basically it's the same jist right?... i found all the tools, got the dll for my enV touch.. i found a link in the metro forum for a metro prl file.

what else do i need?..i know the settings would be different, but i've searched and searched and couldn't find a guide for doing this on metro...which is surprising seeing as how many more people flash to metro than cricket.

someone let me know, asap. thanks.

Should be the same way, you need to go back to metro forum for the settings, you will not find them here.

This means that when you click the email button, NOTHING will happen. Same thing if you try to open the Instant Messaging application. You will get a NO APPLICATION error. And yes, this also means the Verizon MUSIC PLAYER.

Please DO NOT pm me or ask me how to fix this. I'm trying, but as of right now, the point is entirely MOOT.

Enjoy everything else about the phone, but consider the Verizon apps a loss.

In that Case you need to call customer service and have them refresh your wap settings.

I have a LG VX8300. I followed your steps all the way threw. I still can not get MMS & Web to work. It keeps changing my MIN back to my MDN on some spots. If you can will you please help me out. I can send pics of my NV Edit to show you what it is doing & maybe you can show me what I might of missed.

    Thank you for your help.

It's been a while since I've worked with those, but I don't remember having to work directly with the nv memory (unless your you're messing with esn). I think the mdn/min/wap were all set through the phone screens. Then again, I might have never got the mms fully setup. I can't remember. But my suggestion is to do the programming from the nam screen ##000000# or send.

##000000# dont work. It use to be ##77647268300 but for some reason that dont even work anymore. But I can set all those up with NV Edit no problem. But everybody keeps telling me that i can fully flash it over to cricket but not sure what I doing wrong & why it wont stay in the phone after I write it to phone.

has anyone got the (lgdownload) nv edit to work? if so what dll did you use? I have tried a few but cant get it to work as shown. I used the 9800 dll (9900 dll would not show tabs, it would error before) and got it to open tabs but the MIP tab was completely blank when I tried to do the second step in the wap section.

I need to somehow edit the MIP tab to get my internet going, any other software suggestions if this method dont work?

Did you try selecting menu and 7 0's? There should be your sevice programming tab (enter mdn/min). And the wap settings (proxy addresses/proxy port =>8080/user password/homepage).

yeah I did that but it needs deeper programming like in the tutorial(nv edit), cant set the MIP settings through phone service menu. actually on my lx9900 its (##program9900 +send, hen 000000) Thanks for the advice though. , i did find out the program will run on my other computer(32bit) but not my main (64bit) i guess it needs windows 7 64 bit drivers to work properly....I cant believe im the only one with this problem though.
