    ive never had one of those reps tell me to check back daily, or as she put it DAILY....every other time they just gave me a link to sign up for email updates

    it was a pop up that said " chat with an online rep" or something along those lines...usually can get one to pop up while looking at normal cell phones ( non-pda's) and its a red box...just leave the page open and it will usually pop up within a few mins

    Nothing new here.

    Went to the Verizon store in Fremont, CA today to speak to a CS rep. I asked her about the i760. She didn't even look anything up, she simply said, "ah the Samsung." She knows the phone - good sign. "They haven't told us anything about it or release dates, let me look in the system and see what's out there." She went straight into looking it up.

    She said she knew no details and hasn't been told anything about it. There's been no word on training for the phone or on release dates. Their computer had nothing that she could give. She told me, "you'll probably find out about the phone before we do."

    I didn't get it at the time, but the bold and all-caps "DAILY" was supposed to be emphasized majorly.

    Either way, he could have just said that.

    OH! And then my OTHER pet peeve....someone had to quote the very large post! We needed to see it again?!?!

    I would definitely not read anything into the fact that Melissa capitalized "DAILY." I think there is a pretty good chance she had never even heard of the phone before that online chat. I am awaiting the arrival of this phone as anxiously as the next guy. I just don't think the chat tells us anything at all.

    I agree, the way I read that was "Verizon releases phones daily, so check back daily." The first part of the statement makes the second part nothing special, just a standard response.

    HOWEVER, I still feel like this phone is imminent. We should see it by the end of the month.

    Bad news for me is we have cut spending to nothing and I have several phones laying around not being used. It'll be a hard sell to spend the money to upgrade my phone. And just weeks ago I was upgrading left and right......now I'm starting to get pissed @ VZW for holding off.....their delay may mean I don't get one.

    it could mean nothing andy, or it could mean that verizon is working on making the i760 official on their website
