I sure hope this thing hits in the next week. Ive been charging and swapping 4 damn batteries on the XV6700 since the usb connector broke on the damn phone! Im suffering here guys!
OK, the info I received from my local Circuit City Rep is that this phone is expected to release on:
July 30, 2007
I went back in to Circuit City during my lunch and stated that I'd decided to purchase the new Chocolate and not wait on the I760 since they were unable to give me an exact date as to when it would be released. The Rep said it should be July 30th and the latest would be the first week in August (August 6th).
So with that he invited me to purchase the Chocolate because once the I760 is released I could just return it since it would be <30 days.
As always, I can't vouch for the validity or credibility of the Rep's comments I'm just disseminating the information - Let's all keep our fingers crossed!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Wi-Fi has been 100% confirmed on this device. The pictures here show Wi-Fi as being "off" which I would assume means it can be turned on. I think it showed the same in earlier pics but given that this is on VZW's site it probably carries a little more weight.

did your rep say if thats retail or b2b or what? Also, any idea on retail pricing?
VERIZON (who else would i go with? its not like i have a choice in my area..)

there is no way that rep has any VALID information.. information is made available to all of us at the same time. usually about two weeks- one month before the release date.. i have heard the 18th a lot, but seeing as how we would have to start taking trainings/ stocking the phone in the store inventory, i believe it would probably be closer to a month at minimum.. i went to an advanced data training class a few months ago and the trainer told us the libra and tytan would both be released on march 15th..
