I think your best bet is to escalate to a website manager and explain that your understanding is that you are entitled to NE2, ADD, Internet, and MIR discounts. They most probably won't allow stacking all 4 discounts (ADD only combines with NE2), but you should be able to get this fantastic phone for $150. Sometimes it's just a matter of negotiating skill and speaking to the right person. Yelling doesn't help, but talking about incredibly cheap Sprint data charges for roaming on Verizon's network and escalating higher up might help, especially if you're a long-time VCust with a high monthly bill. Good luck!

I went to their "Contact Us" section, and sent them an email.

    This is rediculous.

What REALLY bothers me is that if I keep my current voice plan ($39.99/monty) they are now FORCING me to buy the the 'Unlimited Data' plan for an additional $44.99/monthy?

That is 100% BS! I DON'T WANT the data plan, because the phone has WiFi and I plan on using that.

Anyone else running into this issue while trying to get the phone?

You might have more luck if you call on the phone and ask to be escalated to the proper person for web sales. It pays to be polite. But if you only want to order impersonally off the Internet, you can order the data plan and cancel any time you want. You're not obliged to keep that feature on your plan. But, you can't get the ADD discount if you don't order the full data plan.
    Thanks, robrecht

I coudln't get the $100 discount online like i was supposed to, so i called in and tried again with a VErizon Rep.

They couldn't get it to work either. I asked them to notate it in the account, and see if I could pick up the phone in the store for the online price since their website wasn't functioning properly. After a LONG argument at the store (and with the VZW.com rep on my side) i finally convinced the store to honor the price... the price change was noted on my account but the store wouldn't budge at first till I got managers involved (both store managers and vzw.com managers).

    Hope that helps

How are you setting it up? Through Outlook? I have my work email go to outlook through their exchange server and my gmail separately through IMAP. IMAP is great except that there is a 'known' issue with HTML emails. Some work, some you only get headers.

Has anyone successfully put FTouchFlo on their I760? I went to the link above, and I saw a youtube video of it on an I760, but when I put it on my phone and installed it, nothing happened? =/

    thanks
Anyone? this is the only piece missing for me to be all setup with the new phone, I'd appreciate the code to enable this on the 760 to connect to my laptop.

    thanks

I actually figured it out. When the phone would do the auto setup, it was setting it to POP3. I switched it to IMAP and it worked fine. Thank You though.

Yep. I have it running. Did you go in to your programs folder and tap on it to start it?

Also, if you do a reset you have to start the program again.

I haven't heard back from Verizon Wireless yet

Here is what I DON'T get

Any new user can log on to the verizonwireless.com website and get the phone for $299 because it has a "$100 online credit"

YET, a customer who has been with them since the beginning, will get it for the same exact price, just under a different discount (NE2) ?

How is that fair or rewarding to loyal customers AT ALL??

And where is the $50 MIR for that phone? Still valid?

I hate to break it to you, but if I were you I wouldn't be surprised if you never hear back from VZW. I've emailed them on three separate occasions about fairly important issues such as yours and never once did I receive a response from them. As a matter of fact, come to think of it, that lack of responses is what caused me to stumble onto this site in the first place, but I guess the people here can't really help you with the type of problem you have. But the being the optimist that I am, I wish you the best of luck with VZW. Let me know how it turns out.

By the way, I agree with you completely that we are not rewarded for being returning customers. In fact, it's more like we are being punished for choosing to stay with their service. Sometimes I wonder who in the world is making the decisions over at VZW and why he/she feels the need to be such an a**.
A slice of bread will always land peanut butter side down. If, by chance, you put peanut butter on both sides of the slice, it will float forever.

I'm an artist, see LOOK! Told you

ALSO- What is an "Advance Device Credit"?
