The Treo 700wx I have now has no flash, 1.3mp, and 1x zoom. It works, and honestly a flash on cellphones are useless. I'm sure the camera on the i760 will suffice.
I think I'm going to wait and see what else VZ will offer. This looks like REV A won't be apart of this phone. I was also looking around and seen that VZ will be offering the LG Prada - ish phone with WM6 to compete with the Iphone. That screen real estate is pretty hard to not pass up. I'm sure they would also include REV a as well... well hopefully.

I think people were refferring to the actual visual aspects of the phone, saying it was ugly, rather than that it didnt have a camera-flash. Do know if it is going to have a flash or not?
Just an update on the release date. I was at a store having my Q repaced again and while on the phone with the tech rep he told me that they had been told the Sammy is gonna be slotted for a mid July release and said it will be Rev A, not sure though if it will need an update to enable this feature or not. He also said he believed the hold up was an ok from Microsoft to release WM6. Oddly enough he didn't know anything really about the 6800.

Thats funny because Saturday I was having my V710 replaced for the 3rd time (that 5.99/mo insurance really pays off) and while waiting, I was talking to the tech rep and he said the 6800 should be released mid june and knew absolutely nothing about the i760 (or so he said)
Don't you have to pay $50 each time for a phone replacement?
Only if you lose the phone or break it yourself. If the phone itself just flops you get a new (probably refurb, not sure though) for free. I went through 5 sammys in two years. From what I remember the problems were: speaker stopped working, microphone stopped working, ringers would randomly change by themselves, and another speaker problem. Never paid a dime other than the original cost of the phone and the TEC insurance.
Or if they have any software related problems basically. If you frquent boards and such you can find enough issues with every handset out there to replace phones as much as you want. I have had T720's, A530's, vx-6000's, v-710's, e815's, and 4 Q's getting ready to move on soon too hopefully. The only phone i have ever paid for was the Q and even then it was only $99 on the day it came out.
Yeah if its a manufaturer problem and you pay for the extra warrantee they give you a refurb straight out of the store. I think they just swap certain parts because how can they be still stocking V710? The V710 I received (for free) had my original battery cover and I think the same battery. I think they just installed new guts and a new screen (ear piece). I don't care though because it gets me by until something worth buying comes out. My NE2 has been available since July 06.
So based on that material, is it safe to conclude that the 'Q9m' is the CDMA Q9h, or MotoQ II? That is what Verizon has for their top-tier music handset?
