Why does it say WM5 for the i760? It will have wm6.
Ouch, good spot. I didn't even notice that, I was so excited just to see something with firm dates. I might think it was based on the first scratched out April release date, but from everything I've seen or read, this has been slated for WM6 from the beginning.
It's entirely possible (and it's within the time frame) that the 800w could be the new slim form factor Treo that has been somewhat discussed in the phone-nerd media.
Does anyone have an idea of pricing for the i760? Since the libra does not have wifi, I think I am going to go with the i760, and just wondered if anyone could let me know what to expect pricewise. Thanks!

Look a few posts back with the VZW schedule you will see the price.
VZW, It's 2009! Time to embrace technology, not suppress it.
oops....too late I've ported over to AT$T
I believe that is the price of the card. It does specifically say "bla bla card will launch at 179.99"
I think so too, that is why I was confused when someone said it was in the post. Over at pdaphonehome, they expected the 2 year price to be 499, 599 with a one year and over 600 full retail. That seemed to be pure specualtion though. What was the price of the i730 at launch? i would imagine that this phone would be in the ballpark to that one.

i730 was 719.99 at launch for full retail price.and up until they quit selling it was at 619.99 full retail.
Here's some info fromt he 6800 thread. Seems to contradict the previous release info a bit.
So I just got back from the Verizon Upward Mobility Launch. This event was basically a REV-A launch for Verizon in the Phoenix Valley. Many software app venders were there to display their wireless apps capability on REV-A. But was most interesting was the two new phones we will be seeing with Verizon in the next 30 days.
First was the Samsung , it was definitely a nice device, especially being able to access a hard dial pad without sliding the phone open. The demo unit in Samsung's booth was only running WM5 but the rep stated that it will have WM6 and REV-A on release. The release date stated by this rep was before the end of the month of June!!!
Second was the US Starcom XV-6800 (HTC Titan). This phone was sweet!!! I took some pictures with my XV-6700 as posted below (not very good pics). Very thin and the assisted screen lift was great. I will be purchasing this phone. The demo unit the rep had only had WM5 but he stated that on release it will have WM6 and REV-A. The release date stated by this rep will be July 14th!!!

Gonna be out on July 4th, 2007 and full retail is $449.99
xxfwmxx, I know you're going by those dates you told us about before (either here or on PDAPhoneHome), but have you heard anything to lend any credence to a date late this month, maybe around the 29th or so?
Also, thanks for the price info...considering one of the major differences b/w the i760 and the 6800 is Rev A, I was pulling for the 760 to come in a decent bit cheaper than the 6800.
