I think it will come out at least 30 days after the q9m, so that they won't have to suffer any exchanges. So my 2 cents is on mid to late September for that reason.

That, and I feel like I read somewhere that Moto has some kind of agreement with Verizon where no new phones in the same category can be released within one month of a new Moto release. Could be total BS, but it seems prudent for a manufacturer to have some kind of safety net like that in place.
I760 Dummy Display Phones are at Verizon Retail. Had a change to hold at least the dummy display. (not on the floor yet). The sales rep told me they get the dummy displays about 3 weeks before the phones ship.

The only exchanges that that plan will prevent are for those people who bought the Q9M on the day it launched. If anyone waited [insert time here] then they'll still be able to exchange, and that's bad for business since those phones are now used and can only be sold as refurbs.

My company is joining VZW's tech board, starting in February 08. VZW shared with us today that the i760 will be released either next week or the following week. No later than 9/14/07. They would not share the exact date as we are not under NDA yet regarding the tech board. It appears that VZW is being very secretive about this release. I have had an XV6800 since Friday for testing and that device is not listed for release as of yet.
I love 1 post posters. They seem credible but then again you have the urge to roll your eyes. At least its some information.

September 10th is when I start work with VZW(call center). I just might have to get an i760(yes I have Sprint SERO for $30 right now, but the i760 seems like a device that I'd be willing to put down the big bucks for).

First post on Howard Forums, but member of PDAPhonehome since 2004 and over 100 posts. I only post when I get relevant information. This post would be considered abnormal for me.

I certainly hope that's the day -- my twice daily pull-the-battery-after-a-crash routine with my Q is getting really old...the i760 is the phone for me.
I just left a Verizon store (needed to return a bluetooth headset) where I spoke with a rep who actually seemed to have a clue.

The I760 is scheduled to be released June 11, 2007. The plan was to release it exactly one week after the launch of the IPhone (which was originally scheduled for a June 4th release)....
Is this phone out yet? Can you post a picture of it with any possible specs? Thanks.
