Actually the dates are confirmed considering its on Verizon's rebate form. You can tell me whatever you like, but I already showed you proof.

Furthermore, the fact that the rebate expires before one of these so-called confirmed release dates (XV6800) should give you a chance to stop, hit the backspace key a bunch of times, and not post.

A website that confirms the dates are unconfirmed? That's the whole point -- there have been many websites, spreadsheets, photos, etc. with "confirmed" dates that have already come and gone. Did you even read the rebate form's "valid through" dates?
Look, I hope this phone comes out on this latest suspected release date too -- I hoped it would come out on the 5 previously confirmed release dates that have been kicked around since June. But don't go telling people not to post when they have the audacity to assume that Verizon may not meet a release date that has not even been announced for a phone that has not ever been confirmed. It has nothing to do with me (or anyone else) being right -- it has to do with you flaming someone with such a snotty attitude for no reason.

That sounds pretty silly to me. WM6 works great on Sprint. Unless perhaps they're poorly repeating a much more specific remark about the BT stack or something like that.

Essentially this seems to be Verizon's standard CYA response when, in reality, it has been (most likely) their own bloatware causing the issues. "Blame it on another company so we don't look like the bad guys." As noted by others, WM6 has worked perfectly fine on other devices, and Verizon has had just about a year to tinker with this phone. There's simply no excuse that they can pass on to others at this point.
I'm looking forward to going into the store and finally picking this bad boy up and getting a data plan to go with it.
I can't stand it. Let them come out with it when they will. I think now I will wait until April 2008 and see if someone has the LG touchscreen version by then. If not, at least there will be plenty of reviews by then to help me decide what to buy. Waiting like this for the latest thing to be released is just too nerve-wracking.

I have been out of town on business for the past week, and I talked to Ethan, he said everything still looks good for a release this month, second half of the month. He again mentioned that the new Q has an exclusivity they have to wait on.
