I'd love to hear about the processor speed. Coming from a Q, I am looking to upgrade to a phone that performs with some snap to it.

How is internet surfing on Wifi and over Edvo? Does the proccessor do a good job at rendering pages?

How would you rate the overall experience of WM6 compared to WM5?

According to published information, both the i760 & the 6800 have the identical size screens - 2.8" diagonal with 320x240 resolution.

I do not see any VZNav software on this phone. I need to look in to the cd's that came with.

The phone _feels_ a little faster with not as much "slowdown" that I always felt on the i730. OS changes for the most part are nice. Evolutionary not revolutionary .

The keyboard typing feels so much nicer, audio seems clearer, and the feeling in the hand against head feels like a phone again and not a brick.

Exclamation Just ordered my i760 for $299!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know I was able to order my i760 through the normal *611 customer service number and Im in Southern California.

I got a nice rep whom said he saw the phone and was able to add it to the system and it will ship out tomorrow. He said my price with NE2 was $342 AFTER Tax... he said it was $299 plus tax (Tax based on original price). Plus the $50 rebate in the box brings it down another $50 bucks! ($249 plus taxes) Good deal!

He said its in stock, will ship out tomorrow, and Ill get it on Monday Or Tuesday of next week!

    WooHoo!

(Also of note is that there was no Advanced Data Discount on the device... at least right now)

I remember reading that the full retail price was $519. If you have NE2 and ADD discounts, that brings the price down to $319. This is close to what people have been saying they were getting the phone for ($299). My questions is this... What happened to the discount for signing a new contract. Did these people not get 1 or 2 year pricing? I am asking because I am out of contract and am elegible for NE2, but was expecting to pay a little less than $299 or even $249 (with the $50 MIR). I was thinking more along the lines of $99 - $149.

Hate to be so honest but there's no way you're going to get this phone for anywhere near $99 - $149.

I just tried to do the same thing with no luck. I told them a "friend" just ordered the phone and i wanted to get it also. They told me they could not find the phone in the system but if i had the "friends" number they could find it from that. Anyone who has this phone willing to use a personal message to give me their number? If not, I understand.

Well... people have mentioned that the $299 they paid was without the Advanced Device Discount. That would bring the price down to $199 - $50 MIR = $149. Might have to wait until it's available in stores to get that price, but I think it's possible.
