I just got my tracking number for my order at 7:30am CST this morning! WOOHOO!
I just tried three times now. (I thought I would order and then return when the 6800 comes out.) Not one rep could even pull it up now. They must have removed it after seeing it on Engadget.
In all the pre release info, was there no mention of battery life? I'm suprised. Anyone have an idea what we may expect?
All what pre-release info??!!?? Part of the problem is that there's been so little in the way of either official or verifiable information. Nearly everything we've had access to has been rumor, third-hand, or worse.
Having said that, folks have posted the brochure with battery info on this site, and it has calling and stand-by times listed... if you can believe them.
So, I'd say that we have to wait till some folks have the phone in hand in order to get any real sense of battery and other performance issues.

Really?
Cheap TPU cases. Thunderbolt, MT4G, Nexus S (4G) Droid X/X2, DInc 2/S, HTC Sensation, Samsung Infuse, EVO 3D, SGSII
I don't know what it means, but note that the i760's immediate predecessor (the i730) shipped with both batteries (I think). So, who knows what to make of it?
The i700 did as well. Perhaps they figure a high-end phone should have a perk or two.
If I bypass the business rep it may cause problems. I tried to last night and they cannot apply my corporate discount nor charge it my account because I have an agreement with a manager at a local store to bring back my Q9M that replaced my Q. Anyone know if there is anywhere I can go to charge my account and still work this agreement?

By pre release info, i meant the spec sheets that had been leaked or even Samsungs i760 website. Also, I found the expected specs on phonescoop--3.5 hours talk time, 210 hours standby on the standard battery. Both of those figures seem realistic, so I don't see any reason to doubt them.
