    NY- called three times, no dice.
    They can find it when they search by SKU, but the system is giving them an error msg- plus, my account is now showing that other reps have had the issue, and it's now noted on my account.
    If anyone is willing to share a helpful rep's reach number, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Here's what I've encountered. I've been keeping in touch with my B2B rep and once I heard last night that the phone was becoming available, I sent him an e-mail with the SKU# and asked him to check. This morning he responded that yes, it had showed up in their warehouse this morning. He gave me a price and was ready to get things going. My error was not picking up the phone and getting something done and shipped right away. By the time we played a couple of e-mail tags, he sent me a note just a while ago saying that somehow the phone wasn't in the system anymore. He agreed that it was there this morning, but had been removed, and he didn't know why. He was trying to get an update from his Data Manager. If I hear anything further I'll be sure to post it. Crap!!!!!!

    I just called and attempted to order the phone. Totally played dumb, just acted like 'oh i stumbled upon this phone but I don't know the name, but I have the SKU'. He found it in his system, but told me that it was an error, then put me on hold for a few minutes. Came back and told me that it isn't released yet, and (he was very nice and level with me) that they actually had an alert meeting earlier today about the leak. He then asked where I found my information so they could figure out what was happening, I just said 'uhh... some website, I don't really remember'. hahaaa. Good job to all who got it early

    My 4th and final attempt today, 3PM EST, the CSR said that they all received an email midday today from VZW corporate instructing them not to sell the i760 to anyone under any circumstances until the official release.

    So then, Is that to suggest that it was a fluke mistake and they are pulling the phones from the system? I hope we don't get any issues when trying to activate the phones...

    I think it was. My rep just e-mailed me again and said that he understood my frustration (I had sent him an e-mail where I sort of unloaded) and said that since VZW hadn't really released the phone, and hadn't even formally announced the phone, that he was surprised to see it in the warehouse, and that it was quickly pulled. He's not sure if it was pulled for more testing, or just pulled until it's officially released. I feel he's been very upfront with me so don't think it's just a line of BS.

    Can't think that it would be for more testing if the phone actually ended up in some warehouses, but with VZW, who knows.

    Facinating. Well, this is a first for me. I am a royal procrastinator. On another note, someone mentioned earlier about the possiblity of a Rev.A firmware update for the i760. I'm not technically proficient enough to know if just a firmware update is enough to make that happen. Does anyone know if that is even a possibility?

    Also, I found a great list of hacks for the WM6 OS that allows for using Mobile IE identified as IE 6, which was a big concern for myself as a business user. Alot of my industry sites require IE 6 or better.

    Does that sound right? It was a simple registry hack, and it looked pretty straight forward like it might work. Anyone with experience with this?

    I have a confirmed FedEx tracking number for my i760 order, along with the order for the accessories.

    I chose free shipping for it all so I won't get it until Tues or so, but hey at least some of us got one.

    You know what I find funny? We had so many discussions about how this forum is a community of VZW users so small as to be a "speck" on the radar of corporate. I can only wonder what they think of us now When I called to check on my tracking numbers the rep said they had been fielding tons of calls all day. What an impact for a speck, eh? For these last two days, I guarantee you we got the attention of the VZW corporate folk.

    Anyone recall this situation happening with the release of any other phone?

    BTW - congrats on being one of the lucky ones. Hopefully there will be no glitches activating it. I'm anxious to hear how you like it. Try not to rub it in to the rest of us too much though...

    Smile I got my FedEx tracking number!

    I just got an email from Verizon with my FedEx Tracking number! Phone is on the way to me, and I'll get it on Tuesday the 18th. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. I'm out in Southern California and I just ordered through the regular *611 Customer service number last night at 7pm.

    I also ordered a couple accessories (Cradle / Car Charger) early this morning, but wonder if maybe those won't go through? I got a 25% discount & Free Shipping on them for being part of the Verizon Merits Program.

    Anyways, my apologies to those whom couldn't get it right now, but in reality, I guess I'm technically only getting it about 7 days earlier than everyone else anyway... plus I might have paid more than everyone else might if they have additional discounts. I paid $299 - $50 MIR it will be $249 plus tax after NE2.
