    900-999-9999

I recieved 3 voicemails that were from 900.999.9999. All three of them were blank, it didnt have anything other than backround noise. I didnt even know 900.999.9999 was even a registerable number....

do you have any idea what that was?

thats funny... my dad had 3 vm's from that number and they were all background noise too... then one broke away and i could hear my dad talkin in the background for a good minute or so then it broke back into the staticy background noise... weird... maybe if you call your number and it doesnt register as calling your vm box and it gives you the option to leave a vm it registers as that number... maybe?

I think sometimes calls from VoIP services like Skype show nonsensical phone numbers.

hahaha you guys are funny. that number is t-mobile backdoor voicemail number. I do that all the time for privacy purposes.
call voicemail backdoor from a landline. (usually AAA-PPP-9999 (using you first 6 of your Tmo number)) and leave a message to anyone you like.. your caller id will be 9009999999

Bzzzzt! Wrong answer. 900 "area code" is for pay per use. Try another theory.
