Did it. Here are my first observations.....
The photo option to save to external storage stays after a reboot.
My hacked apps still work EXCEPT VZNav. Now it doesn't launch when I select it. The games and other apps still work.
Any questions? I am still poking around. I wont be able to play with BT until tomorrow. My BT adapter is at work.
I appear to have file system access still via BitPim. I wrote a file to the Mod directory.
I spoke too soon. When I tried to get the addresses and stuff from the phone I got this:

Ok, I must be doing something wrong.
I've upgraded my Chocolate a few times, but can't get the 9900 to work.
I installed the 9900DLL.
LG Download gives the error:
Can't load DLL file into memory.
Check the DLL file path to load the memory on the status bar.
If it was printed Unknown Model in the Model Name, select directly DLL file path.
Suggestions?
