So can anyone else confirm that when recording video (longer ones like 5-10 mins) to the mem card that there is no studdering and it's smooth? Ive only seen that one person has said this but Id like to be sure b4 I go V02.

30 sec msgs would be a great thing to have also. My question to this though is can you send them to someone who doesnt have a phone that can record 30 sec msgs?
Have the need for speed? Then drive it like you stole it!

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed or not, but I am able to send 1600 x 1200 pictures at any point, not just after I take them. I tried several times today, and any way that I take them and save them, I am able to send them at any time.

Yes, you can send them to someone who can't record 30 second clips. I have a VX9800 that can't record them, but can receive and play the 30 second clips that my VX9900 takes.

I actually took a 2mp pic the other day that exceeded the picture message size limit. So I guess it is possible that some pictures will be too big if they are really detailed and well lit.
Also, something weird I did on accident today. If you are in menus, or doing anything with the internal phone, and you hit the "End" button on the outer phone, it will bring you to the main screen. But ONLY the "End" button works with the phone open. Kinda interesting.

The end button problem happened in V01 also.

    Thanks for the info.

Can anyone answer the video to mem card question?

I'm sure that is it. I tried my hardest to get a well-lit, colorful picture the other day when I was testing, but I guess I just wasn't getting the best picture.

I guess just to be safe, if you plan on sending the pictures at all, just leave the resolution on 1280 x 960, correct?

I'm assuming that since LG Dowlonad is a PC program there is not a Mac version correct?

Thus, that means the 02 FW completely breaks BitPim editing on the Mac correct?

I really hate it when that happens...

Does anybody know if the firmware update has fixed the awful MP3 player? I mean, can we actually, you know, do other things while listening to music now?

    Question Is it a brick?

    Hey!

I was trying to perform the upgrade and it worked.

The problem is that I was trying to change some of the parameters for MMS and every time I wrote them to the phone under Version 2.0 the settings would reset themselves.

So I tried to downgrade back to Version 1 and now a I have a much bigger problem than before: When I go to the MIP tab, there is NOTHING in the window......no parameters whatsoever!

Not only that, the phone refuses to stop saying Service Required.

    Brick or no brick?

    Have you rebooted the phone?

Yes, thanks! And problem solved: Thankfully, I backed-up the phone's programming using QPST. I was able to restore ALL the MIP settings.

But that still leaves me with two big problems: 1.) I cannot get the phone to stop saying Service Required, and 2.) Some of my settings keep getting set back to default every time I read from the phone.

I think if I can isolate the cause of the settings revert, then I can get the phone to go back onto the network again. Any ideas on what files might be causing this to happen?

P.S.: These issues never used to happen before my attempted upgrade.
