Just curious about a forum rule--"Unlocking"

I'm curious why the subject of "unlocking" is banned from the forums.

Unless I'm mistaken, there is no law saying that unlocking is illegal, is there? So, why why not allow this topic if people constantly try to post to it?

You've resurrected an old thread that is no longer relavent as the rule has been ammended a while back. See the Sticky thread in the Samsung Main forum.

Unlocking Post Update

Unlocking posts - Unlocking posts are fine so long as they're in the appropriate forums and they're not soliciting other members. Please refrain from posting your IMEI's.

The "No Unlocking Rule" had been ammended a while back, hence why no one has been banned for an "Unlocking Post" recently.
