Words don't match up to mouth (video playback problem)

I have a Nokia E62 and no matter what video player I try I always have the same problem... the video and sound are never synchronized. I would like to keep a few videos on my phone to watch when I get bored (or desperate lol) but I do like to words to match up to the mouth

    Anyone have a solution ??

    Thank you !!

Ensure all running applications are closed before viewing the video. Also try encoding specifically for the device's capabilities. The resolution and/or bitrate may be too high for the phone to keep up!

where are you getting the videos and what file format are they?

i agree with xenctuary. try encoding it to match your screen resolution and lower the frame rate.

I have tried to adjust all those things and my e62 still can't play video that matches words to mouth. Maybe its just the uselessness of the phone. It is the slowest thing I've ever seen and Nokia should be embarrassed.

Use smart movie. You can adjust the sound delay so it matches the mouths.

Tried that too, but smart movie can't do anything about the worlds slowest phone... Nokia should be embarrassed.

The video starts, stops, starts stops... just like all the radio players I tried and later deleted... start, stop, start, stop. When a phone takes 9 seconds to advance to the next screen in it's own menu imagine playing video on it..

Seems I'm not alone and it also seems that the E61 is much faster than the E62.

Another quick question from me: In order to play VGA@30fps video on any other phone, what format do you have to convert it to in order for it to work?

I find that if I reboot every once in a while it helps, but I did use your trick for smart movie and that with the reboot seems to help. I can't wait to get my tytn
