Yeah for me, Opera Mini has to get into "Test 3 of 4" before it finds the right network settings ... but after that it works just fine.

    Glad to help!

By the way, if anyone wants different proxy settings and doesn't have (or doesn't wanna bother with) libwbxml, just send me a PM and I'll create a new script for you.

Sorry, unfortunately no. I've tried several other methods (including using the SD card), but bluetooth seems to be the way to go. You can get a USB bluetooth module for your laptop for like $20 from Fry's or Best Buy. Or send it to your phone using a friend's bluetooth-enabled computer.

    Hello!

I have problem with youre solution on my T-mobile branded nok 6300 phone.
I try to send .prov file to the phone over usb by right clinking on the file and send to->removable device (this is my phone). After it I get an error message (on PC) that the destionation device couldn't recognise this file type.

Do anybody have experience about this problem??

    Thanx

OK this is my fault. Apparently you can't send the provisioning file via USB ... the Nokia docs do say that you have to use Bluetooth. I've updated the README file to not suggest using USB.

    Sorry about that!

I tried with bluetooth. It worked!
    Many thanx for this howto.

I uploaded a zip file which contain modified provisioning data for Hungarian T-Mobile.
    You can find it here
It can be useful for T-Mobile GPRS Wap and GPRS Wap Plus users.

If you don't mind, I'd like to include your files in my distribution also. Of course I'll keep your name in the header area for credit.

So far I have the provisioning files needed for T-Mobile in USA and Hungary, and for Personal Telecom in Argentina.

    Thanks!

Naturally you are allowed to use it, i dont mind!

    Another question about this problem:
Do you have any idea, how to get out original settings from my phone, and edit it into a new provisioning data file. I ask it because I dont want to change settings for mms or other preintalled application.

    Thanx

My 8801 doesnt recognize the file even after sending via BT object push. Any ideas? It says file format not supported

When I send the file via object push it asks me to save it to a location on the phone and then rejects it when I try to open it.

Can't be done unfortunately. Provisioning files are designed to not be editable, and files sent over the air to your phone are immediately applied and not retrievable.
