the sunglasses thing is just the nature of polarized lenses. it will do it on most screens. Even your computer monitor if you turn your head sideways.

but that sucks about the * and # not working right in voicemail.

Yeah, I was just throwing that out there as a word of caution for anyone trying to use landscape mode while wearing polarized lenses.

one thing i find annoying is when the text inbox is reaching capacity, it tells you every time you open the inbox that it's filling up and will be auto-deleting texts!

i haven't found a way to turn that notification off. i have to delete my inbox every other day.

Once you just start letting it auto delete, it will stop warning you. Unless you manually delete a bunch that puts you back under the limit and then when you reach that limit again it will warn you again. I just let it start auto deleting.

How do you turn off the mobile status in AIM? I can't find it on my Ocean.

[+] AIM lags while typing. If you type too fast, the ocean misses out on your keystrokes. VERY annoying. Worst bug of them all, to me.

[+] Device locks-up 20-30 seconds while updating contact list in AIM.

[-] Device is very confusing to silence entirely... and AIM sounds should be able to be changed or silenced without silencing the entire device...

[+] Speakerphone volume is ridiculously low.

[+] (bug?) When listening to music, you can surf. When you go to surf, the sidekeys to switch songs or play/pause music are disabled/don't work. I don't know if it's supposed to be this way or not, but it probably should let you switch between songs while browsing.

[+] Buddy Beacon has no landscape mode.

[-] Camera options don't stick... they never stay the way I want them, and when you're going through the options there's really not a way to confirm your choice of selection... if anybody knows what I mean...

    [-] Browser needs help. Period.

[-] needs more unified OS... such as text boxes/areas working totally different at times. Example: in aim, you can hold backspace and eventually it erases back. However, in some OTHER text boxes/areas, it just erases everything typed period. And sometimes, holding a button doesn't repeat the character. But sometimes... it does.

[--] No copy and paste, no buddyicons, no active-aim-contact list. No ability to chat and browse the web at the same time.

[-] Device shows as "Mobile" for AIM, which disallows file transfers on certain versions of AIM clients, which defeats the direct connect feature... Especially on iChat for Macs. (You can turn this off, and make it show you as regular user, but lots of people who use oceans just don't know that. it'd just be easier to not mark us as mobile.)

[+] AIM conversations erase too soon. I don't know when or why it happens, but if oyu have 4 conversations open, and you talk to someone for a while, and don't look at the other conversations for a while, it just erases some of the conversations, keeping no history.

There's more. I'll add them after work.

You'll have to do it from a regular computer. Log into AIM and change the privacy options.

    Definitely add the #/* reversal in landscape mode in voice mail to the list. I always have to hear that I pressed the wrong key from the voice mail lady before i remember they are reversed. Maybe they could ask the voice mail lady to accept either rather than telling me I done wrong ;}

    Longtime lurker first time poster.

This one just popped up yesterday. I was surfing the internet closed the browser screen went black except for a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. Tried accessing my photo album and all my photos turned to yellow triangles w/ exclamation points in them. Has happened twice now in the last two days.

Also, I think a previous poster mentioned this problem and got an RMA, but the microSD card will not stay in the phone. It keeps popping out. Have tried everything to get it to stick, but to no avail. Going to try for the RMA tomorrow.

I feel the issue is directly related to the previously mentioned reversal of those keys in the list. Fixing it would solve both problems indirectly.

RoxyMusic, thank you for posting! Please keep us updated on whether or not this issue presents itself again. Unfortunately, this bug list is for issues that can be consistantly replicated and effects all Helio Oceans.

yes, i had the mem card issue. They rma'd it and i got a new one. Mine would just push in and immediately pop back out but you could read the card if you held it in.

on the new phone, it behaves just as you would think it should. It pushes in, and clicks and stays until you push in again and then it pops out.

i called support and was on for maybe 10 minutes and they said it was a problem. Good luck

Wow have I got an issue, it started actually today, and I cannot imagine why.

Well basically when i receive or send call, sure it connects. The thing is, i cant hear anything the person is saying when i have it on my ear, but the person can hear me fine.

I tried changing the volume up and down. NO LUCK

Then i tried changing it to speakerphone and it worked like a charm, then when i reverted it back to lisitening to the ear peice, it became functional again.

I am running software version D0810HEP03_2.160

that's crazy, cause my wife has had that problem on her old cell phone (audiovox flip phone on verizon) for about 5 months now. except switching back to earpeice doesn't solve problem, she always has to switch to speakerphone and keep it there.

    another new bug

    another new bug:

If you are watching a video clip that you have taken with the ocean and get a msg alert the video stops playing, but the audio keeps going. You can not stop the video now or do any thing on the ocean. You have to wait until the clip ends.
