The reversed symbols bug occurs when composing a new text message. It does not happen when composing a new email message. I have software version D0810HEP03_2.160.

Hmmm... I also have software version D0810HEP03_2.160 (perhaps we all do) and I don't seem to have that problem.
So when you're composing a new text message and you hit the SYM button, then Down, then 4 you get a Pound (#) sign instead of an Asterisk (*) ?
Or are you saying that item 4 shows as a # sign and 5 as a * ?
On another topic, I'm going to go ahead and add the the Silent mode problem with the phone playing sounds on Silent. It seems to silence the Ringtone and AIM sounds, but slider tones and all other sounds still play on the phone, thus defeating the purpose.
Here's an update on what we have so far:
- A2DP (Stereo Bluetooth) Volume is way too low
- Device locks-up 20-30 seconds while updating contact list in AIM.
- When listening to music, you can surf. When you go to surf, the sidekeys to switch songs or play/pause music are disabled/don't work.
- Camera resolution reverts to 320x240 when in portrait mode but does not return to previously selected and saved option of 1600x1200 (2MP)
- Playing Videos in Vibrate mode changes the Vibrate setting to previous volume level
- Switching from Vibrate to Ring in Landscape mode does not save the setting change properly
- Silent mode does not silence all sounds

hmm, well, on my ocean, when the device's ring mode is on the lowest setting, your AIM noises are still louder and more annoying than ever.
SO- if the "Ring Volume" is silent, AIM sounds are silent, but if your "Ring Volume" is only up one bar, your AIM sounds are still blazingly loud and horrifying...

it's just that the frame around the text ends too early so you can see the text going over it if you have a lot

I dont know if anybody else has had this problem but whenever I try to access the internet the screen goes white.

The only bug I seem to have noticed that really annoys me is that the cookies in the browser aren't working.

The * and # symbol being backword occurs when using the querty keyboard. If you're using the number pad they work fine.

Some of these are not bugs but rather a lack of capability/features. I don't know if you'll add them to your list but I thought I'd post.
1) Bluetooth capabilities are limited (IE: no bluetooth transfering, unable to recognize any device that's not a headset)
2) I've noticed that when checking/selecting pictures in the photo album, I am unable to move the ones I selected to a different folder. I can only move them individually or if I have them ALL checked. Rather annoying.
3) The AIM picture sending feature rarely works. The picture rarely actually gets sent.
4) There is no file viewer. I haven't seen a way to transfer photos to the PC unless it is in an external memory component. I think that's pointless to have that limitation. We should be able to freely browse the contents of our phones ON the phone itself as well as through a PC instead of having dedicated flders show up when linked to the PC.
5) No group ringtones. I like the ability to set a ringtone to each individual, but I would really like if I could set ringtones for groups too. It would be more convienent.
6) Calendar App plain sucks
7) I don't like how you can't really do anything while you're on a voice call, like set your alarm clock or check your inbox and such. That gets annoying as well. You can't access the menu to do anything like turn on bluetooth.
8) You can't turn off sounds specific to programs, such as, I cant't turn off the sound to my AIM without putting the entire phone on silent. That bugs.
9) It's annoying that I cannot play my recordings in speaker mode. Then again, the speaker volume sucks so much it probably wouldn't make much difference.

Lightbrazer & FilthyRich: I'm still trying to investigate this (*) & (#) bug, as it seems it doesn't do it on all Oceans.
I'm trying to determine if the Symbols on the Symbol selection screen are backwards or if the phone inputs them incorrectly.
When you're viewing page two of the Symbol Selection screen, which symbol is listed for key 4?
