New Wallpaper Policy: 26 June 07

After talking it over with the other moderators, we have decided to change our current wallpaper policy. It's been a little over a year since the old policy was changed, and it has not worked out how I wanted it.

My goal was to centralize all the wallpapers into one easily searchable location. The problem is nobody uploaded them to the wiki, so links got broken, people stopped posting, etc.

I would like to encourage you to keep posting them in the wiki, because I believe this is the best location to keep wallpapers. You can view existing ones here:

If you see the point in this, you can help keep this page current with wallpapers by posting them in there.

To prevent users from accidentally deleting their wallpaper links, or from over-running bandwidth, I encourage everyone to upload their wallpapers here:

It's very simple to use, and will not run out of bandwidth. I encourage you to keep uploading and posting to the wiki.

However, it is time to change. I realize the old change wasn't the most popular decision that's been made. I wanted to centralize the wallpapers to keep the clutter down, and to help all users find wallpapers more easily. I still want this, but we've realized that the amount of people posting wallpapers has fallen significantly. We have decided to re-open the old wallpaper threads. Please keep posting them in the wiki, to help centralize all the pictures, but if you wish to keep posting them in the threads, they are located here:

the wallpaper page is there...http://wiki.howardforums.com/index.p...tom_Wallpapers ,but when you go to http://wiki.howardforums.com/index.p...320_wallpapers , there are several of the links (depending on what you click on) that have a new page with something of a .jpg there but it seems to be broken...no picture

is it just me or did half the wallpapers uploaded at the photo site got "moved or deleted" i cat see any for: 120x220 people. anyway guys i encourage you all to upload your wallpaper at: http://www.cellphone-wallpapers.net/user.php

Awesome, this is a good initiative and a win win for everyone. The user aka me or us shares it easily and people can download easier too, and secondly the forum's wiki gets more knowledgeable
