Does anyone have the HTC 8525 (TyTn) for t-mobile?

I am about to purchase an HTC 8525 (TyTn) and I use T-Mobile. Does anyone have this on T-Mobile unlocked? Does it work well on T-Mobile?

Is there any software I will need to install on it? Like T-Mobile ROMs or firmware or anything?

No. It works great. I've been using it for 3 months now. Awesome reception. Try it with WM6. A good place to start is xda-developers.com

Ok got it in today. Called in to try to get the OTA settings thing from T-Mobile they said they couldn't do it with this phone. So they told me to change the APN to internet2.voicestream.com I did that got the internet working. Got the unlimited internet addon package or whatever. the $29.99 a month one.

Now I am having one more problem. Picture messaging doesn't work. So where would I need to go to change that setting and what would I need to change it to? Thanks!

Ok just got done with T-Mobile on the phone for the 10th time in the past day. Finally got E-Mail working. I got all the settings put in for MMS but I dont think its working still. Could someone please look at what I did and tell me if I am doing anything wrong:

Go to Messaging, Click Menu, Click Tools, Click Options, Click MMS, Click Servers. I have a setting called Picture Messaging that I made with the following settings:

    Server Name: picture messaging
    Gateway: 216.155.165.050
    Port Number: 8080
    Server Address: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Connect Via: MEdia Net (note I edited MEdia Net so that I use that to connect to the internet it has the correct T-Mobile settings)
    Sending Size Limitation: 600k

MMS is still not working. Anyone have this problem?

Whenever I do that I check the outbox and it goes from a green arrow to a yellow clock faster than it did when it was 216.155.165.050

I have the Cingular 8525 running TMobile with the unlimited internet, sms, mms working fine. These are the steps I took to get it setup.

    Install WM6 http://www.4winmobile.com/forums/her...-versions.html

Instructions for doing the upgrade are here. http://www.mrvanx.org/cms/index.php?...d=58&Itemid=26

Install Cingular 8525 keyboard fix. (If you don't do this the symbol keys on the querty keyboard will be wrong)

Then install the cab to set the TMobile settings. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311446
