6590 with a PIMP WHITE 8390 faceplate and keypad

I did the modification myself. I don't know why so many people complain about not being able to fit an 8390 faceplate onto their 6590. It was actually really easy. You just need one small sharp blade.

Looks great ! BTW, how do you get a screen saver in there? Do you need logomanager and a sim that capable of it?

Yes the 8390 keypads will work on the 6590 phone perfectly. If you want an aftermarket crystal keypad for your faceplate, just give me a few bucks and it's yours. It looks like the original OEM 8390 keypad, same colors and chrome command keys. The only differences are that it has those small Chinese characters on some of the number keys and the key prints aren't perfectly set (just a little bit crooked). If you don't have to have perfection, then this is the keypad you want! The keys feel great, just like OEM. It looks like this:

(scroll down on that page and look closely at one of those six photos)

i think it's the clear cover. it's not as white as the snow white OEMs from Nokia. the OEM ones are more solid coloured, although they still let light pass through..
why don't you get the OEM ones and mod those to fit??
i'm sure it will look even better..
    nice phone btw..

I'm selling this white aftermarket faceplate. I don't really like the all-white personally.
