The processor speed is same or similar as P990 it has been said. Despite that, P1 operations are still much faster than P990.

The preorder price in Sweden is like 665 USD, so take a vacation here and buy your self a decent unlocked P1 for cheap money (with tax reduction the phone becomes 532 USD).

exactly - x1387 is ALWAYS amongst the first to actually get models in and ALWAYS has them priced pretty ridiculously when they first drop - im guessing within the next WEEK the price will drop down some and continue that trend until it hits its true "selling" price

imo - he's a genius - there are plenty of people who will shell out excessive amounts of money to be the first to have a new gadget - he just capitalizes on them

heck, then the k850 comes out, i might be one of those morons who gets it in the first couple of weeks...
    the bloggy blog blog blog...

    Speedtest Wave Anyone?

    common sense...not so common...

L Bo: How do you like the iPhone thus far?

I really, really, really want one but AT&T is of no interest to me. Been there, done that, then got decent cellular service to replace it.

Yeah, I'm not surprised the price is dropping. The initial prices are always overly inflated. I just hope the prices fall to a more reasonable level (around $500 or so) faster. I guess I'm just a little impatient

    Sony Ericsson P1 Processor

Can anyone tell me how fast the processor is in the P1? It says a lot about usability and responsiveness!

    TIA,

    Michael.

I've found the answer and it's only 208mhz. What a pity!

I can't imagine paying that for a smart phone with no 850. Email and internet will be basically useless.
