Thought you folks would like to have a peak inside a iPhone without taking apart your own. I know I certainly wouldn't.. At least, not if it's glued together!!
There..
That's much better!! Do you still love me? I wonder when this lovely device will come to our shores? Umm.. In the UK!
Well now we know why the battery life is bad. MADE IN CHINA apple should have had the cells made in Japan where the quality is better. As for taking apart the phone, cool I can dig it if I had 600.00 to throw away

not always the case, he could have done it for business purposes.
Just wondering are there any chips into the phone that remotely give the possibility of a 3g chip?

Hi Totalfixation,
For the record, I didn't take mine apart, come to think of it.. they're not even available here yet! Unless i hunt one down on ebay or something. Those photos where borrowed from thinksecret, some dude on there ripped theirs apart!
Guess they couldn't wait for smashymyiphone to do their bit.. just as well really... smashing anything purely for fun is such a mindless thing to do. This slightly brute-force way of dismantling the unit does give you a slight insight into the build quality of the components used - yeah, they could of used a better cell, guess it comes down to cost of manufacturing right?
As for your question on the 3g thing..
Well.. for a start, the phone isn't running the right baud to handle video chats. Though, I can't help but wonder why Apple haven't or didn't design the phone to be in-line with other modern phones. I'm sure there are plenty of people throughout the USA who are using 3G handsets, but not actually utilising the full 3G aspects. Right?
BTW, are there any carriers in the US which have full 3G support?
Yes, Sprint and Verizon... If you meant UMTS/HSDPA, no.
